Panasonic today announced the launch of the Eluga A3 and the A3 Pro at an event in New Delhi today. The two devices are just the tip of the iceberg as the company has committed to releasing around 11 smartphones within the next 2 months.
Both the A3 models feature a 5.2″ HD IPS display, 3GB RAM, fingerprint sensor on the front, 13MP rear camera with Phase Detection AutoFocus (PDAF), 8MP front camera, 4000mAh battery and Android Nougat OS with ARBO AI assistant. The key differences are that the A3 is powered by a 1.25GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor and comes with 16GB internal storage while the A3 Pro uses a 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor with 32GB internal storage. The storage is expandable upto 128GB via microSD. Coming to physical specifications, the A3 and A3 Pro weigh 161 grams and measure 148×72.4×9.1mm.
Available across all Panasonic outlets and offline stores across the country from August 10, Eluga A3 is priced at Rs.11,290 and A3 Pro costs Rs.12,790.
