After having a global launch just 2 days back, OnePlus 5 has officially been made available in India today at a grand event in Mumbai. Fans were also invited with a pass being charged at Rs.999 providing various bonuses inside.
The highlight of the device is the dual camera setup at the rear touted by the company to have gone through a lot of testing. It comprises of a 16MP regular lens with 1.12um pixel and f/1.7 aperture while the other is a 20MP telephoto lens with 1um pixel and f/2.6 aperture. The company claims that the dual setup can provide Bokeh effects and lossless 2x zoom. There is no Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) although there is Electric Image Stabilisation (EIS). The front camera has a 16MP resolution with 1um pixel and f/2.0 aperture.
The device is priced at Rs.32,999 for the 6GB+64GB Slate Grey variant while the 8GB+128GB Midnight Black version costs Rs.37,999. It will be available for sale on Amazon India and the OnePlus store.
