Huawei recently debuted the Huawei Mate 9 at an event in Germany. It is the second device from Huawei following Nova and the first flagship from the company to support 4K video recording.
The dual camera setup makes use of the second-gen Leica lens. Both the rear cameras with monochrome and colour sensors come with an f/2.2 aperture. They also feature OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation), laser, phase detection, contrast and depth detection. The dual-camera lens is further endowed with dual tone and dual flash with hybrid zoom, letting users zoom without much loss in quality. The front camera features an f/1.9 aperture with autofocus.
The device runs on EMUI 5.0 interface with always-on gesture support. A fingerprint sensor is located on the rear below the dual-camera setup.
No word yet on the Indian release date and price but it is speculated to arrive within a few months.
