Sony debuts latest home theatre systems and soundbars

Sony India announced two new home theatre systems – HT RT5 and HT RT3 along with two sound bars – HT CT790 and HT CT390 for the Indian market.

The HT RT5 is a 5.1 channel home theatre with a power output of 550W. It comes with one touch wireless capabilities like NFC, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The wireless HT RT3 is a 5.1 channel sound system with 600W of power output. It is equipped with a S-Master Digital Amplifier that helps minimize distortion.

Coming to the sound bars, the HT CT390 produces 330W of peak power featuring S-Force Pro technology. It has Bluetooth, NFC and Wi-Fi connectivity. The HT CT790 boasts of a 330W output coming with Bluetooth and NFC connectivity.

Sony has developed the Songpal App which lets users browse music on the pen drive connected to the devices without looking at the monitor. This concept is called ‘smart remote commander’ available on both Android and iOS.

The devices will be available at all major retail outlets across the country at different dates and price points:
