July 14, 2020 by T3 India

Samsung is set to tighten its grip on the mid-range to premium TV market with the launch of state-of-the-art new TV ranges: the Crystal 4K UHD and the Unbox Magic 3.0. They launched the stylish Serif and the stunning new range of QLED 8K TVs and now with the Crystal and Unbox Magic 3.0 series, Samsung’s quick and fastidious approach is definitely noteworthy.

With a stylish three-sided bezel-less design, the Crystal TVs feature a 4K UHD display, powered by Samsung’s Crystal technology which offers ‘Dynamic Crystal Display’ for a lifelike-4K display. With inbuilt AI, the processor is also capable of upscaling content to up to 4K resolution.

The Crystal 4K TVs also feature a Dual LED backlighting technology that enhances the contrasts and tones and with the ‘Multi-View’ feature, the TV screen can also be split into two which enables users to view two different modes of content. The Crystal TV also smartly deals with the sound when the ‘Multi-View’ feature is turned on – the audio of one is played through the TV speaker and the audio of the second can be heard through a Bluetooth-enabled headset. Additionally, users can also mirror movies or music from their smartphone on the Crystal TV.

The Crystal 4K TVs are available in the following sizes and prices: 43” for Rs. 44,400; 50” for Rs. 60,900; 55” for Rs. 67,900; 65” for Rs. 1,32,900; 75” for Rs. 2,37,000.

The Unbox Magic 3.0 TVs offer the following variants: 32” for Rs. 20,900 and the 43” for Rs. 41,900.

The Unbox Magic 3.0 and the Crystal 4K UHD TVs share features such as Bluetooth, Bixby, and Alexa connectivity – the latter being complemented by the ‘Multiple Voice Assistance’ feature by the smart remote. Both new range of TVs also feature a ‘Personal Computer Mode’ that allows users to transform the TV into the computer through a wireless screen mirroring feature.

Popular platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+Hotstar, Sony LIV and others are available too. The TVs are also capable of connecting to smartphone hotspots, and being an effective music player with its enhanced audio system.
