Global conglomerate Transsion Holdings has announced a joint venture with Spice Mobility to make a return to the Indian market. The agreement was signed today by Mr. Lin Qin, Vice-President, Transsion Holdings and Mr. Dilip Modi, Executive Chairman, Spice Mobility.
Following Transsion’s multi-brand strategy, Spice joins itel and TECNO in expanding the portfolio of the company. The main aim of this partnership is to revitalise the Spice brand and attract the young generation of India by offering a rich digital experience as well as leverage the existing user base. The new Spice Brand identity and philosophy of “Make Sharing Better” further re-inforces this and is said to ’embody collectivism and promote social cohesion & interdependence in the Indian society’.
The new logo, by the company’s admission, denotes a youthful, vibrant, energetic and carefree brand. The logo colour Purple signifies the stability of Blue and energy of Red, its component colours. The font makes a nod to the old brand logo and the rhythmic wave symbolises the dynamic relationship it aims to establish with the youth.
