HMD Global and ZEISS have signed an exclusive partnership aiming to advance the imaging quality on upcoming Nokia smartphones. To recall, both companies had earlier partnered over a decade ago in 2005 to great success on devices like N73, N82, N90 etc.
This joining of hands will see extensive R&D done on the imaging experience encompassing the entire ecosystem including software, services, screen quality and optic design. Some leaks have hinted at the rumoured Nokia 7 and 8 to house Zeiss lenses in a dual camera setup.
