The very first iPhone SE was launched in 2016 and here we are four years after, with a follow-up of the original iPhone SE. The second-generation iPhone SE features a compact design, latest-generation processor, improved camera and most importantly, an affordable price tag.
The new iPhone SE features an aerospace-grade aluminium and durable glass design with an all-black front, which to be honest, feels like a fusion of iPhone Xr colours and iPhone 8 body. The good thing about the build is that it is water and dust-resistant with an IP67 rating for water resistance. It also features the very familiar Touch ID that allows to unlock the phone, approve App Store transactions, use iCloud Keychain and more.
Interestingly, the biggest jump is on the processor front and the iPhone SE comes with Apple’s A13 Bionic processor that powers the latest and more expensive iPhones. On the camera side, the phone comes with a 12MP f/1.8 sensor at the back that supports 4K video recording and portrait mode support on the front camera.
The availability is still unknown, which we assume is due to the current lockdown but it will be in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB models in black, white and (PRODUCT)RED from Rs. 42,500.
