Republic of Gamers (ROG) – a sub-brand of Asus dedicated on innovating the latest gaming computers – have created a state-of-the-art motherboard, called the Maximus XII Apex, supporting the latest Intel 10th-generation processor and AI Overclocking and AI Cooling mechanisms which help the motherboard to break barriers and perform at its peak. This was put into practice a few days ago at a relatively small gathering at the Asus headquarters in Taiwan.
Here, the Asus ROG Maximus XII Apex was put to test through rigorous drills and the participants, or rather, the ‘overclockers’, managed to break six world records. The highlight was that the overclockers took the motherboard running on an Intel Core i9-10900K all the way up to 7.7 (7707.62, precisely) GHz on all of its 10 cores. This is a magnificent achievement for a motherboard, and Asus ROG has created a beast that is capable of performing at an extraordinary level.
Another overclocker set a new DDR4-memory-overclocking-frequency record of 6666 MHz. The gaming and graphical performance of the Maximus XII Apex combined with the Intel processor was on display and it broke the ‘3DMark’ records. ‘3DMark’ is a benchmarking tool which was created to determine to performance of a computer’s 3D graphic rendering and CPU workload processing capabilities.
Other records like the Geekbench4 – Single Core, Cinebench 2003 were broken too. All this has proven the capabilities of the latest Asus ROG Maximus XII Apex motherboard. Asus ROG have claimed it to stand out even among all the other motherboards they’ve made up till now.
