After making their Indian debut in the Television segment with the Mi TV 4 last month, Xiaomi has increased the line-up with the Mi TV 4A. The series will be available in two sizes: 32″ and 43″.
The 43″ model sports a nearly bezel-less Full HD (1920×1080) screen while its smaller sibling is surrounded by thicker bezels covering the HD (1280×720) screen. Both are powered by 64-bit Amlogic processors, Mali 450 GPU, 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. For connectivity, there are 2x USB ports, 3x HDMI, Ethernet and a headphone jack. The 43″ model includes an additional USB port and an S/PDIF port. Wireless connectivity is covered with dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth v4.2.
On the audio front, the TV is equipped with dual 10W speakers supporting Dts-HD and Dolby Atmos. The Patchwall interface is ever present here with Xiaomi doubling down on its claim of 80% content out of the 5,00,000 hours available said to be completely free. The UI has a built-in universal search option that searches on both online and offline spaces.
The 32″ model is priced at Rs.13,999 while the 43″ model costs Rs.22,999. They will be sold from 28 March online via Mi.com and Flipkart as well as offline through Mi Home stores. Rs.2,200 cashback is being offered with a JioFi connection as an introductory offer.
