Sony India today announced four new audio products to cater to customers who seek a premium audio experience.
First is WH-1000XM2 that takes over from last year’s MDR-1000X. Design-wise, there’s not much to differentiate from the predecessor but improves noise cancellation and brings in smart adaptive features, quick attention, touch panel to control music, up to 30 hours of battery life and quick charging support that gives 70 minutes of play time on 10 minute charge. The model is priced at ₹29,990 and will go on sale from December 14.
The WF-1000X are Sony’s true wireless earbuds like Apple’s AirPods. It comes in a charging case that can charge the earbuds two times. The earbuds offer adaptive noise cancellation, ambient sound, equaliser support and quick charging that gives 70 minutes of playback on a 15 minute charge. It goes on sale from today for ₹14,990.
WI-1000X is neckband in-ear earphones that has a similar feature set to the rest of the models and adds vibration alert. It has a 10 hour battery life with quick charge support. It’s priced at ₹21,990 and is available now.
The last headphone to get official is WH-H900N. This supersedes MDR-100ABN and bring a foldable design, noise cancellation, quick attention, touch sensor, quick charge and up to 28 hours of battery life. This particular pair of cans will go on sale from December 14 for ₹18,990.
