LG set the release date for the sale of its latest 4G LTE smartphone, LG X Screen in India which marks the first device to launch the X series. The device includes a panic button which the Government of India has made mandatory for all upcoming smartphones from 2017.
The main USP of the X screen is the always on display situated at the top of the screen sharing space with the front camera. It allows users to check basic information such as time, date and notifications without having to turn on the main screen and expend unnecessary battery life. It also keeps recently used applications for quick access, lets users receive calls without interruptions on the main screen and lets them control music directly.
It’s worth noting that the back of the device is made from glass fiber material when combined with the curved edges makes it really easy to grip the smartphone.
The LG X Screen will be sold from 20 July at a price of Rs. 12,990 exclusively on Snapdeal. It is the first time that LG has decided to sell a smartphone online only.
