At the launch of the Redmi Note 3 event, Xiaomi VP Hugo Barra announced that the Mi5 will be sold next month in India, although no date was given. The smartphone garnered over 1.5 crore registrations within a couple of days in China.
The company also confirmed their Bluetooth speakers will be sold in the last week of March, around Holi signifying the large range of available colours. Featuring a 1,500mAh battery and eight-hour playback, the aluminium body speakers will be sold for Rs 1,999.
A 20,000mAh power bank will also be making its way into the Indian market soon.
