Infinix has launched their budget-friendly S5 Pro, which is packed with some hefty features for a sub-10k smartphone, making the entry-level market even more competitive. Apart from Infinix marketing the achievements of integrating a pop-up selfie camera, the first ever to do so in its category, there are quite a number of reasons to be drawn to this device.
Powered by Helio P35 64 bit Octa-Core processor, with a 2.3GHz frequency, the Infinix S5 Pro features a 6.53-inch Full HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. It runs on the latest Infinix XOS 6.0 Dolphin OS, and Android 10.
The rear camera system consists of 48MP AI Triple Camera with dual LED flash with 9 compatible photography modes. A 2MP depth-sensing camera enables users to take sharp portraits. Taking it up a notch, the camera interface also has the Google Lens feature installed that adds AI to its camera prowess.
The S5 Pro is also equipped with a 16MP pop-up ‘selfie’ camera – a feature that has caught on in the last few years – which opens up to an aperture of f/2.0, offering a ‘Lift’ life-cycle of 150,000 and a widely-known ‘Drop Protection’ feature which retracts the camera automatically in case it falls or slips. Fingerprint sensors and the Face Unlock tech help users unlock the phone in just 0.3 seconds.
S5 Pro offers a brightness of 480 nits and also strives to give users an impressive audio experience through it’s DTS-HD Surround Sound features. The S5 Pro comes with a 4GB DDR4 RAM, storage capacity of 64GB, and a 4000mAh battery which is assisted by the AI smart power-saving feature which supports up to 8 hours of non-stop gaming.
The Infinix S5 Pro comes in two colour variants, Forest Green and Violet, for Rs. 9,999 and will sell on Flipkart.
