Skullcandy has launched Indy earbuds, the latest addition to their truly wireless lineup following close on the heels of Skullcandy Push that we reviewed in the April issue. Indy comes in an elongated design reminiscent of Apple’s Airpods but at a much lower price.
Indy offers a total battery life of 16 hours that includes 4 hours in each bud and 12 hours from the charging case. They have an IP55 rating for resistance against dust, rain and sweat making them wearable in most situations. The capacitive touch controls help users with toggling them on/off, playback and overall operation of the earbuds. Coming with the latest Bluetooth v5.0 standard, they have a range of 33 feet.
“Indy is designed and priced to be the truly wireless product that fits perfectly into the aspirations of the Indian consumers. We’ve combined our wireless technology with a stylish shape and portability that gives our consumers a whole new level of freedom when it comes to experiencing their personal soundtrack.” said Amlan Bhattacharjya, CEO, BrandEyes.
The bundle includes 3 sets of eargels in small, medium and large sizes, a pair of stability gels, micro-USB charging cable and a user guide. Priced at Rs.7,499, Skullcandy Indy is available in Black for now but other colours like Indigo Blue, Moab and Mint will be coming later in the year.
