Huawei has been on a roll lately with new launches happening nearly every month with Honor 9 Lite being the latest addition. The device is a pared down and more affordable version of Honor 9.
Honor 9 Lite features a 5.65″ Fullview FHD+ screen in a 5.2″ form factor encased within a dual 2.5D double glass body. Due to the slimmed down bezels, the fingerprint sensor has been moved to the rear said to unlock the device in just 0.25 seconds. Interestingly, the processor is the same one found in Honor 7x that was released last month. Coming to the optics, the dual front and rear camera setup is identical augmented by Phase Detection AutoFocus (PDAF), LED flash and bokeh mode. Onto the software, the device is running on Huawei’s EMUI 8.0 based on Android 8 Oreo. It uses an enhanced F2FS file system said to be more effective in system caching and defragmentation.
Priced at Rs.10,999 for the 3+32GB variant and Rs.14,999 for the 4+64GB model, Honor 9 Lite will be sold exclusively on Flipkart from 21 January 2018 via flash sales. There will be certain launch day offers offered for a limited period.
