Moto launched the new generation of the E series at an event in New Delhi today. The new E4 range consists of the E4 and E4 Plus.
The E4 Plus uses a 2.5D cover glass display with 267ppi encased in an all metal body which is a first for the E series. The main USP of the E4 Plus is the 5000mAh battery said to provide upto 48 hours of battery life. It comes bundled with a 10W rapid charger that gives hours of battery life with just a few minutes of charging. Instead of a notification light, Moto Display has been used which lets users check and respond to notifications directly from the locked screen. The front camera comes with selfie flash and beautification mode which work in low light as well. As is the norm with Moto devices, a nearly stock version of Android Nougat 7.1.1 has been used. The E4 is basically the smaller version of the E4 Plus with lesser RAM, storage, battery and rear camera resolution.
Available at all leading mobile phone stores, the E4 is priced at Rs.8,999. The E4 Plus has a cost of Rs.9,999 and will be sold exclusively on Flipkart from 11.59pm today.
