SanDisk has expanded its range of storage devices with the launch of two new products. The SanDisk Ultra microSDXC UHS-I is only available in 256GB while the SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive m3.0 is sold in four capacities.
The SanDisk Ultra microSDXC UHS-I is the first card from the company that specifically targets mainstream users, with a focus on Android owners. Supposedly, the card can store up to 24 hours of FullHD 1080p video and supports transfer speeds of up to 95 MB/s. The card is also quite durable since it is waterproof, shockproof, X-ray proof and even temperature proof.
The Dual Drive m3.0 is aimed at Android users who are making use of OTG-enabled devices running the Google OS. It comes with a retractable design that has a microUSB port on one end and a USB3.0 port on the other. It can reach transfer speeds of up to 150MB/s.
Both products are also compatible with the SanDisk Memory Zone app. The redesigned app has new features, such as a timeline-based photo browser, aggregated content view, an integrated video and music player with built-in file compression as well as decompression capabilities.
The SanDisk Ultra microSDXC UHS-I (256GB) card will be sold for Rs 13,990 from December 2016 on Amazon India exclusively. SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive m3.0 is priced at Rs 650 for 16GB, Rs 950 for 32GB, Rs 1,650 for 64GB and Rs 3,600 for 128GB, which will also be available from next month exclusively on Flipkart.
