ASUS ROG unveiled two new gaming laptops powered by the Nvidia Pascal Geforce 10 series for the Indian market. The VR ready devices also feature Nvidia G-SYNC technology to reduce lag and stutter as well as reduce visual tearing.
The ROG G752VS (pictured above) has an inspired look with Armour Titanium and Plasma Copper colour finishing. Inside is the 6th generation Intel Skylake unlocked Core i7 processor, Nvidia Geforce GTX 1070 and upto 64GB DDR4 RAM. The overclocking toolkit bundled with the unlocked processor allows users to overclock the system to speeds of upto 4.0GHZ. The display panel comes with a 120HZ refresh rate and wide 178 degree viewing angle. The backlit keyboard has anti-ghosting technology with 30 key rollover for precise input.
The compact ROG Strix GL502VS is capable of offering VR in an ultra portable form factor weighing just 2.3Kg. The 15 inch wide panel allows for a 178 degree viewing angle so that there is no colour shift when viewing from other positions. The design has been made such that it maximises cooling efficiency. The ambient noise free audio system is said to deliver crystal clear audio. The integrated ROG center gives users easy access to functions like system information, hotkeys for faster in-game commands, adjust audio settings and record gameplay from a single dashboard. Additionally, ASUS GameFirst III technology optimizes network traffic to help get a better overall multiplayer experience. The interface includes four preset package priority modes – Optimization, Game, Media Streaming and File Sharing.
The ROG GL502VS (Rs. 1,81,990) and G752VS (Rs. 2,47,990) will be available across all offline and online retailers in the country.
