MWC 16: Intex reveals Aqua Fish smartphone

Intex recently introduced Aqua Fish, the latest entry in their budget lineup with an open source OS. The Sailfish OS (based on Linux) was originally developed by Jolla until last year Intex partnered up with them to further develop it for use in their own hardware.

The final specifications for the phone are:
Display: 5″ 720x1280p qHD IPS display (~294 ppi Pixel Density)
CPU: 1.3GHz quad-core
Operation System: Sailfish 2.0 OS based on Linux
Memory: 2GB RAM
Storage: 16GB (expandable upto 32GB via microSD)
Connectivity: 3G, 4G/LTE, Bluetooth v4.00, Wi-Fi b/g/n
Sensors: Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor
Colour: Orange, Black
Weight: 115g
Camera: Rear- 8MP with flash, Front – 2MP
Battery: 2,500mAh (non removable)

The Aqua Fish will be sold in April for approximately Rs. 7,000.
