  1. Sony expands ‘Cinema is Coming Home’ with new BRAVIA Projector 7 and 9

Daijiro Nakano, Deputy Managing Director, Sony India said “We are thrilled to introduce the BRAVIA Projector 7 and BRAVIA Projector 9, which embody the cutting-edge technology and premium design that define our Sony BRAVIA line-up. For over 50 years, Sony has been helping customers bring cinema into their homes. Now, with the power of the Sony BRAVIA XR Processor driving our projectors, these new products reaffirm our commitment to delivering a truly immersive, professional-grade cinematic experience right from the comfort of home.”

2. XR Processor delivers deep blacks, brilliant colours and 4K clarity in BRAVIA Projector 7 & 9

The XR Processor for projectors enables four powerful picture technologies—XR Dynamic Tone Mapping, XR Deep Black, XR TRILUMINOS PRO, and XR Clear Image—to deliver a professional-grade cinematic experience. XR Dynamic Tone Mapping analyzes peak brightness frame by frame and applies optimal tone mapping to showcase images with rich gradation, high brightness, and vibrant colors. XR Deep Black enhances dark scenes by precisely controlling laser dimming, producing deeper blacks while preserving tone and color expression. It also improves power efficiency by optimizing laser output frame by frame. XR TRILUMINOS PRO brings over a billion colors to life, while XR Clear Image refines visuals by upscaling content to near-4K quality. Using a vast image database, it intelligently restores lost texture and detail while minimizing noise. Both the BRAVIA Projector 7 and BRAVIA Projector 9 are compatible with IMAX Enhanced content, delivering larger-than-life visuals and a more immersive home viewing experience.

3. BRAVIA Projector 7 and 9 offer laser brightness, 4K 120fps gaming in a compact design

These projectors are equipped with Sony’s unique laser light source, designed to deliver a dazzling cinematic experience from the comfort of home. They feature enhanced brightness within Sony’s award-winning, compact, and lightweight designs. The BRAVIA Projector 9 delivers an impressive 3,400 lumens, while the BRAVIA Projector 7 offers 2,200 lumens of enhanced brightness. For gamers, 4K at 120fps with 12ms input lag, along with Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) via HDMI 2.1, ensures smooth, responsive, and immersive gameplay. Additionally, the BRAVIA Projector 9 comes with a Live Colour Enhancer for vivid, vibrant images—even in brighter viewing environments.
