Godrej Launches ‘Har Ghar Surakshit’ 9th Edition & Neo Digital Locks

Locks & Architectural Solutions (LAS), a key business of the Godrej Enterprises Group, today announced the launch of the ninth edition of its flagship home safety initiative Har Ghar Surakshit, featuring a bold, behaviour-changing campaign — ‘The Accidental Invitation Initiative’.

This year’s edition expands the idea of safety beyond physical security by spotlighting digital mindfulness as an essential layer of home protection. The initiative is built on a compelling and relevant insight: in today’s hyper-connected world, oversharing on social media can unknowingly turn into an “accidental invitation” to risk.

Key Highlights of the 2025 Edition

1. Accidental Invitation App
A first-of-its-kind digital platform created using AI, the app analyzes an individual’s social media behaviour (with permission) and generates a personalized Accidental Invitation Score, helping users understand how their online activity may compromise home safety. Supported by Meta, the initiative brings much-needed awareness to the rising threat of cyber-enabled crimes in India.

2. Behavioural Digital Films
A series of cinematic digital films dramatize everyday oversharing moments — from vacation posts to gym check-ins — turning relatable scenarios into cautionary tales and reinforcing the message that modern security begins with mindful behaviour, online and offline.

3. Launch of Neo Digital Locks Range
LAS also unveiled its all-new Neo Digital Locks Range, representing the next evolution in India’s smart home ecosystem. Engineered for mass-premium consumers, the range includes models with:

  • Built-in video door phones
  • Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity
  • Multiple access modes
  • Anti-theft alarms
  • Emergency power backup

Starting at ₹8,999, the Neo range aims to democratize smart security solutions and accelerate 21% growth in the segment. With the digital locks category already growing at 35%, the brand continues to strengthen its leadership in made-in-India smart locking systems.
