WD introduces palm-sized My Passport external SSDs

WD has introduced a new line of portable SSDs that are small enough to fit in a palm. The My Passport SSD comes in capacities starting from 500GB to up to 2TB and features a compact metal design that is shock and resistant to vibration.

Based on NVMe technology, the SSD promises speed of up to 1050MB/s and 1000MB/s respectively for read and write. Moreover, the drive supports 256-bit AES hardware encryption support, software to back up large files or to a cloud service.

The My Passport SSD is ready to use out of the box, either with a PC or a Mac and supports USB Type-C connectivity but WD bundles USB-A adapter for better compatibility.

The portable SSD is available right now till Nov 13 at a special price of Rs. 6,999 (500GB), Rs. 12,999 (1TB) and Rs. 24,999 (2TB).
