The SDA-835TAB is a detachable multi-purpose tablet and can be used both inside and outside the vehicle. Powered by a quad-core processor, this tablet runs on Android OS 9.0 and has an impressive 4000mAh battery, making it suitable to use over long-drives. More so, the SDA-835TAB comes with pre-installed apps such as YouTube, Gmail, Google Maps and Pioneer’s very own – Pioneer Smart Sync App which connects to a wide variety of apps including Spotify and more. The tablet is equipped with an 8-inch 1280×800 IPS screen with a 5-point capacitive touch panel.
The tablet factors in driver and passenger safety and its utilitarian design enables it to be connected to the universal read-view camera. The rear camera footage also springs up automatically when the driver shifts the gear to reverse. The SDA-835TAB also connects to Pioneer’s parking sensors (ND-PS1), if installed. Due to its detachable nature, the tablet’s Anti-theft feature offers security options even when one’s not in the car.
