Gudsen have expanded their range of gimbals with the MOZA Air and MOZA Aircross. Both aim to cover different use case scenarios to fit the needs of users.
MOZA Air can handle 2.5kg weight supporting numerous mirrorless and DSLR cameras rotating 360 degrees on yaw, tilt and roll axis. For the sake of convenience, camera recording can be started or stopped, gimbal movement adjusted and switch operation mode be done from the handgrip control. The thumb controller can help with toggling the movement speed and focus control in certain models. Further, it has an estimated battery life of 5 hours and can wirelessly be controlled via the iPhone app that also allows for moving panoramic time lapse shots but only for smartphones.
MOZA Aircross is a nimbler model specifically built for mirrorless camera users supporting upto 1.8kg payload. Just like the Air, it includes multi-mode stabilisation, wireless control and handgrip thumbstick. What sets it apart is how it can power the camera directly from the gimbal battery and can even be clasped with a large external battery to the handgrip if more is required. The quick-release plate will be invaluable as users can get it on and off the gimbal speedily without the need to rebalance it every time. Out of the box it fits any quick release plate from 50.5-55mm.
