Acer announces availability of Spin 7 convertible in India

December 22, 2016 by Ankush Mahajan

Acer has launched the Spin 7 in India today which they claim is the world’s thinnest convertible notebook. Its 360 degree hinges help transform it into a laptop, tablet or even an amalgamation of the two.

The 10.98mm thick or rather thin device offers a FullHD viewing experience on its 14″ touchscreen display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass technology. Acer has also included its proprietary Color Intelligence software that dynamically adjusts gamma and saturation in real-time thereby optimising screen colour and brightness with less impact on the processor. BlueLightShield is also present to protect your eyes from harmful screen emissions by cutting down on excessive blue lighting.

Running on Windows 10 OS, the Spin 7 is powered by the 7th Gen Intel Core processor paired with 8GB LPDDR3 RAM and has 256GB SSD storage. Also included are dual USB 3.1 Type-C ports, wide glass touchpad, Dolby Audio Premium with Acer TrueHarmony powered speakers, HD webcam with HDR, battery backup of upto 8 hours, a fanless design keeping things quiet and the weight light at just 1.2kgs.

The Acer Spin 7 will be sold at a price of Rs.1,09,000 in India across various retail stores.
