HP Spectre makes its Indian debut

June 22, 2016 by Ankush Mahajan

HP India launched the Spectre 13 finally bringing the device to India. HP claims the Spectre 13 is the world’s thinnest laptop with a thickness of 10.4mm which is the equivalent of a AAA battery. The chasis has high gloss copper accents and a hidden piston hinge creates the illusion of a hinge-less design.

The Spectre is powered by Intel Core i5/i7 processors, 8GB RAM, Bang & Olufsen Audio with Quad Speakers sound, SSD storage and Hyperbaric cooling technology keeps the device cool. To maintain the slim profile, the battery is split into two thinner pieces delivering a battery life of upto 9 hours 45 minutes. Finally, the 13inch Full HD IPS edge-to-edge display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The above hardware is housed in a CNC machined aluminum chasis with a carbon fiber bottom weighing 1.1kg.

The HP Spectre will be available from 25 July at a starting price of Rs. 1,19,990.
