Omega has revealed the world’s first master chronometer, the Globemaster. The watch’s claim to fame is its endurance against magnetic fields. The only tested anti-magnetic watch was put through eight rigorous tests over a period of 10 days and can withstand a magnetic force of 15,000 Gauss, making them far more accurate than other mechanical watches that suffer from inaccuracy without protection against magnetic force. The watch also boasts double certifications, one from COSC and another from METAS for maintaining optimum precision and accuracy.
Omega has not revealed the exact price but is expected to reveal more details on 17 March.
