The writer of Steve Jobs still uses an iPod Classic

November 9, 2015 by James Peckham

Sorkin has written the new film about Steve Jobs, starring Michael Fassbender and directed by Danny Boyle, and he used quite a bit of the company’s tech in the process.

He told T3, “I still listen to music on my iPod. I like the clicking wheel. It’s the classic one, in black. And I just love that wheel – Steve really did know what he was doing.”

If it ain’t broke…

Sorkin is no stranger to Apple technology. He also said, “Everything I’ve ever written I’ve written on a Mac. I have an iPhone in my pocket.”

Sorkin also wrote the screenplay for Steve Jobs on four different Apple Macs including a desktop at home, an iMac in his office and two different MacBooks.

He also used the dedicated screenplay writing software Final Draft to get the words down on the page.
