WD has unveiled new My Passport Ultra portable hard drives for the Indian market. WD says the drives are now in its 7th generation and boasts some good features like USB 3.0 support for faster data transfer, 256-bit AES hardware encryption that delivers a high level of security with no impact to write-speed or CPU activity and built-in WD Backup software that is simple-to-use with a focus on reducing frustration when setting up a backup plan to preserve data.
The drives come with 1TB and 2TB storage capacity options with four stylish colours like Classic Black, Brilliant White, Wild Berry and Noble Blue to choose from.
The 1TB drive is priced at Rs. 4,750 and 2TB drive at Rs. 7,550 and are backed by a 3-year limited regional warranty.
