Kingston launches new Canvas memory cards, MobileLite Plus Card Readers

Kingston has launched their first-ever UHS-II memory cards branded under the ‘Canvas’ range as the ‘Canvas Plus’ and new MobileLite Plus UHS-II card readers. This new portfolio of next-gen SD and microSD cards will deliver enhanced performances and speeds to DSLRs and other devices like smartphones, drones, and more; which are also capable of producing 4K/8K videos.

The ‘Canvas Plus’ portfolio consists of Canvas Select Plus, Canvas Go! Plus, and the Canvas React Plus – with storage capacities in the SD and microSD variants extending up to 512GB in the former two and up to 256GB in the latter.

The Canvas Select Plus offers Class 10 UHS-I speeds of up to 100MB/s and is designed for cameras capable of recording Full HD and 4K videos in particular.

Canvas Go! Plus, on the other hand, provides Class 10 UHS-I U3 speeds of up to 170MB/s read and 90MB/s write and is ideal for shooting4K UHD videos on drones and cameras. Prices range from Rs. 1,400 for the 64GB microSD card tp Rs. 16,500 for the 256GB SD Canvas Go! SD card.

The Canvas React Plus offers top-of-the-line UHS-II performance to capture professional-grade and high-resolution photos on industry-standard cameras’. These cards offer Class 10 UHS-II U3 reading and writing speeds of up to 300MB/s and 260MB/s, respectively on SD and 285MB/s and 165MB/s, respectively, on microSD.

The MobileLite Plus readers are also compatible with UHS-II speeds for faster transfers and processing. With a USB 3.2, these card readers are, really, some very handy accessories to possess.
