After launching abroad last year, YouTube Gaming is available in three more countries – India, Malaysia and the Philippines. Available both as an app on Android plus iOS and the official website, YouTube Gaming has over 25,000 games, each with t its own page.
Just like Amazon’s Twitch, the app supports live streams and recorded gameplay on the web. Viewers can chat with other users during live broadcasts and use voice search to find games. It also includes the ability to let viewers rewind a live stream, something noticeably absent from Twitch.
Local content is currently sparse but expect it to grown soon enough.
